APPLICATION
Application DISCOFILM-SET with applicator cup (dispenser):

How to use DISCOFILM SET – step by step
1. Preparation
Place the record on the base.
The pin on the base element must protrude through the center hole of the record.
Place the applicator cup (dispenser) on the pin.
💡 Tip from Dr. DISCO:
Warm the DISCOFILM bottle in a water bath (approx. 25–30°C) beforehand. This will make the liquid more pliable and allow you to clean more sides of the record with one filling!
2. Application
Remove the cap from the DISCOFILM bottle.
Pierce the seal with a pointed object (e.g., a pin).
Press lightly on the bottle and fill the applicator with liquid up to the calibration mark.
➡️ Slowly turn the applicator clockwise over the record.
➡️ An even, closed film should form, covering all the grooves.
➡️ If there is not enough liquid, simply refill and continue applying.
➡️ Then remove the applicator.
3. Drying & removal
Allow the film to dry completely – approx. 2-4 hours, depending on the room temperature.
Now all the dirt particles are bound in the film.
📌 How to peel off the film:
Stick a piece of adhesive tape approx. 5 cm long halfway onto the edge of the record.
Press it down firmly and slowly peel the film upwards.
❗ Note:
If the film tears when you peel it off, it was probably applied too thinly. No problem – just apply another layer and let it dry as usual.
Application of DISCOFILM bottle with sponge applicator - step by step
1. Application
Pull the cap off the DISCOFILM bottle.
Carefully pierce the sealing membrane with a sharp object (e.g., an awl).
Now apply DISCOFILM evenly and generously to the record using a sponge or brush.
Make sure that a homogeneous, closed film forms over all the grooves.

2. Drying & removal
Allow the film to dry completely – approx. 2-4 hours, depending on the room temperature.
Now all dust and dirt particles are bound in the film.
➡️ Stick half of an approx. 5 cm long adhesive strip onto the edge of the record and press it firmly onto the dried film.
➡️ Pull the film off slowly and evenly – using the protruding adhesive strip.
❗ Note:
If the film tears when you pull it off, it was probably applied too thinly. No problem – just apply a new layer and repeat the process.
